In this episode we discuss the various courses of study that Irish officers can an cannot take. We discuss James C Scott’s notion of Infrapolitics, politics and power in society, agency and the challenges of making Infrapolitics relevant in 21st Century higher education.
The discussion goes deeper into the concept of hidden curriculum, hidden transcripts and what people actively hide rather than what is unconsciously hidden and enacted. We conclude our discussion with a brief conversation on what Andrew is working on now and what he is hoping to achieve in the near future as well as reading and resource suggestions for anyone interested in finding out more about the higher education in the IDF, Infrapolitics and hidden transcripts.
