Two new Dexter spin-off series, Dexter: Original Sin and Dexter: Resurrection, are in development for Paramount+. Dexter: Resurrection, beginning filming in January 2025, will see the return of Michael C. Hall as Dexter Morgan, picking up where the limited series Dexter: New Blood left off. The series explores the potential for returning characters and offers a chance to rectify the controversial ending of the original Dexter series.
