Coping With Prostate Cancer Like Al Roker
Manage episode 315936634 series 3296316
Earlier this month, one our favorite weathermen and co-hosts, Al Roker, announced that he has been diagnosed with Prostate Cancer. Did you know that Prostate Cancer is the 2nd leading cause of cancer death in Black Men? Did you know that when Black Men are diagnosed it is a more-aggressive type of cancer? Did you know that even though Prostate Cancer is serious, most men DO NOT die from it? But, Black Men are still dying from it? Ever wonder why?
In this episode, I breakdown everything you need to know about Prostate Cancer in the Black Community. We are going to talk about it all! And I’m going to give you tips on how to cope.
