#161 Same ole' blah blah blah
Manage episode 444000310 series 3557145
Okay, Are you stuck in the same old story, same old blah blah blah, thinking it’s the only script you’ve got? It’s time to take control and write a new chapter.
You’ve reached GIH, where we instigate growth one call at a time—using tech so outdated, it might just make you wonder what year it is. But hey, it works for 3-minute leadership lessons, right? This is message #161, and I’m Aaron Havens. Buckle up, because this one’s going to mess with your mind!
Gotcha! Haha. For those of you that call in each day and say the opening stick with me… yeah for today, I thought I’d change it up to make a larger point. First off, I super appreciate you. It’s fun seeing how many people call into the hotline. And it’s great when your friends or family calls in because you’ve shared the call. Let’s keep doing this! I’m having fun. How about you?
Are you stuck in the same old story, thinking it’s the only script you’ve got?
What story are you telling yourself? Is it time to flip the script? Re-write the ending? Change things up? I mean it’s Monday. What commentary on your life are you already telling yourself? Does this story get you closer to your life success plan, or are you already sabotaging yourself?
You’re not stuck. You’re not trapped on a treadmill with no options. Today is a day you have full on permission to make changes, change things up, drive a different way to work… ask some bigger questions. Being stuck and blah blah blah is not our ways! Not today!
Not you my friends! Today we tell our minutes where to go! You are the author of your story and you have the power to change the narrative. As David James Lees says “Be mindful of your self-talk. It’s a conversation with the universe.”
Yeah. Your life is that big. It’s worth that much. It’s no small deal to have the breathe you have right now!
Thanks for calling in today. After the beep, let me know: what’s one story you’ve been telling yourself that you’re ready to rewrite? Because every great story starts with a single decision to change.
