Manage episode 280721325 series 2839498
If you’re a football fan, then you’ll want to tune-in to this episode of Leadership America! The legendary Drew Pearson joins Scott and Angel in a conversation about his incredible career in the NFL with the Dallas Cowboys and beyond.
In this podcast, Drew was flawless in delivering an inspiring message while catching every verbal pass Scott and Angel tossed his way. Drew shares the highlights of his 11-year career and goes into great detail about what actually took place on the field that iconic day he caught the infamous 50-yard “Hail Mary” catch from Hall of Famer, Roger Staubach. That play made history as it stole a playoff victory over the Vikings in Minnesota. That's where the term "Hail Mary" was born, exactly 45 years ago this month, on December 28, 1975. He'd go on to become a Super Bowl Champion, become a member of the Cowboys illustrious Ring of Honor at AT&T Stadium and be elected to the NFL 1970's All-Decade Team
But, without a doubt, the proudest and fondest moment of his incredible career, should take place in Canton, Ohio in the summer of 2021, when "Mr. Clutch" can join a select group of his former teammates, having been selected as the Senior Finalist for the Pro Football Hall of Fame's Class of 2021.
Get to know Drew Pearson today as we engage in a dynamic dialogue with one of the greats!
