How do you feel about people who have opinions about everything and anything? Confidence comes because one knows a lot or doesn't know much at all.
Often the second one is the main reason. Ask a genuine question and be ready for any answer, try not to expect an answer you're looking for. Not any opinion counts, only the educated ones do.
We should encourage people to ask questions and not necessarily to have the answers. A dumb question is better than a smart assumption or opinion that is not backed up with some science or stats. When there is a dumb question, we should help to sharpen and clear up the question, not to make fun of the other party and make them feel stupid. There are dumb questions, but by asking more questions at one point we learn how to ask more appropriate questions.
Often your opinion doesn't matter and you are not entitled to have one, unless you are well educated in the field and can back it up with science or stats.
Life is simpler when we have less opinions.
Life becomes more interesting when we have more questions.
