Syracuse Orange Football is seeking a quarterback in the transfer portal with Kyle McCord out of college eligibility. On3 connects Fran Brown's squad to Liberty Flames quarterback Kaidon Salter. Salter is a duel threat QB that was the CUSA MVP in 2023, but regressed in 2024. That could be because he lost his top pass catcher, CJ Daniels in the transfer portal. If Syracuse lands Salter, Offensive Coordinator Jeff Nixon will have to re-design the offense to suit Salter's strengths.
