The Norwegian Atlantic Committee and the Nobel Peace Center presents this year´s second Sikkerhetspolitisk Dypdykk - this time with the U.S. Ambassador to Norway, Kenneth J. Braithwaite, in conversation with journalist Tove Gravdal (Morgenbladet). Kenneth J. Braithwaite is an American naval officer and diplomat, and has been the U.S. Ambassador to Norway since February 2018. He is a retired Rear Admiral with more than 27 years of experience from the United States Navy and the US Navy Reserve. Ambassador Braithwaite is a graduate from the United States Naval Academy and University of Pennsylvania. He served on President Donald Trump´s Defense Department transition team after the 2016 election, and on October 19th 2017 the President nominated him to become the new ambassador to Norway.
