Why is our history being Memorialized on building we do not own. Most of these new buildings we (African Americans) Can’t live in. The response from many is “yes you can this is not true”. But yes it is. Prices are so expensive many of the African Americans that are living the so called American dream is still in a struggle and this is being studied by many. Stores market to us and we think just because we are highlighted in a Gap commercial we have arrived.
