We learn what soulmate coaches are and what is this soulmate? We learn about the four steps to love. Then Ezra asks: What’s getting in the way? Turns out there are some challenges around menopause for Lynetta and lower libido for both partners. Lynette is feeling stuck in performance mode while Mark just asks her to be present. Lynetta took a sex sabbatical to help figure things out. We hear how six year old Lynetta left feeling crushed by her mom and how Lynetta now shuts down due to criticism or even perceived criticism. Mark owns being greedy for Lynetta. And Lynetta says “all my doors are open for Mark”.

Ezra discusses why he is hesitant to receive coaching on the show. They talk about the value of self compassion, and rejection sensitive dysphoria. Lynetta shows us her capacity for compassion for sharing her compassionate feelings for her mother who must never have gotten approval either.

We explore a few strategies for Lynetta to use when she feels stuck in her head. We also explore role play opportunities that can shift the focus away from performance for Lynetta. Lynetta shares her concern with what a lack of erection or sustain erection “means”.
