Undrig (John Vincent) originally got his start playing drums at the age of 5. Looking to expand outside the context of playing in bands eventually led to forays into both production and djing in 1999. Originally producing experimental electronic music, during which he did remix work for industrial pioneer, Claus Larsen of Leæther Strip, Frank Heiss and has collaborated with Submerged and Incyde.
Heavily influenced by the early sounds of artists like Skinny Puppy, Source Direct, Squarepusher, and Future Sound of London, his style has been primarily focused on the unstable space between seductive, groove focused, bass driven subtleties and evocative, experimental vibes.
After moving back to New England from the west coast, he joined ranks with Digital Mercs, held residency at Maine's original Dubstep night Heavy Pressure with Selector Moldy and hosts Sine Language Sessions on the legendary Sub.FM every Sunday 10pm-12am EST. He's also released both vinyl and digital music on Boston's Zakim Records and NYC based Thought Render.
