*****

In this episode Amrit Bansal is joined by Parul Bansal, an artist and activist from Toronto, Canada, who uses storytelling and experience design to address issues of complex systems, social dynamics and individual perception. Parul experienced Alopecia through her life, and likens the resolution to this experience as Post-Traumatic Growth. Parul spends time thinking about what it means to be perceived in South Asian societies and cultures when you're a woman who doesn't (and may not be able to) conform to societal norms.

Parul currently is running a project called "Ancestral Futures: Ancient Ideas to build our futures" which holds a focus on collecting pre-colonial South Asian ideologies, culture and histories in hopes to share knowledge and offer different ways of being. At time of recording, Parul has raised £1000 of a £9500 target for this project.

(We'd really appreciate it if you could donate to her project, so please check it out!)
