Hector Gonzalez is a successful entrepreneur who has achieved financial success through subscriptions and coaching. Hector also uses social media to draw in his audience with short-form, polarizing posts that ignite engagement and discussion in the comments section. Currently in the midst of a two and a half day fast, Hector’s energy and focus is on point. He’s pumped and ready to share his secrets to productivity with listeners.

Hector's upbringing in the Bronx in a single-parent household taught him the importance of self-reliance and responsibility. He watched his mother pull herself up by the bootstraps and change her life. His mother's religious beliefs had a strong impact on Hector and eventually led him to mission work in places like Pakistan and Mexico. During his seven years of mission work, Hector developed a passion for business and creating content. He was able to raise $3,000 in a day through content creation, which led to his interest in creating and scaling subscriptions.

In the face of the pandemic, Hector and his team helped businesses build monthly recurring revenue. He understands the fear of communicating and public speaking, as he had a stutter growing up. He advises others to be okay with looking like a fool, being scared, and doing it anyway. He reminds us that successful people are where they are because they took action.

To build a subscription model, Hector creates a complimentary offer for clients, such as a $300/month subscription to get started, and credits the first three months towards a higher-ticket item once revenue starts to come in. He believes that subscriptions can be hands-off, freeing up time for entrepreneurs to focus on other aspects of their business. Hector recommends building a business to be sellable, even if you don't plan on selling it, because you never know what life can throw at you. Potential buyers will be attracted by recurring revenue.

Hector emphasizes the importance of human touch in the age of AI. One of his strategies he offers to clients is to engage in high-end coaching with one to two calls per week and stream one call every other week to subscription clients. Hector also recommends consolidating podcast content into a master class for podcast growth and using it as a lead generator for subscriptions on the back end.

If he had to start over with nothing but the knowledge gained through experience, Hector would advise himself to post content consistently and engage with audiences. He emphasizes the importance of partnerships and collaboration in content creation and building a business. Hector stresses the need to get really good at the basics.

What You’ll Learn:
