Gina is a trailblazer in the field of Engineering. She was the first woman to receive a PhD in Engineering from Montreal's Concordia University. In 2018, she made a tremendous gift of $15M to Concordia's Faculty of Engineering, and became the first woman to have a faculty named after her in Canada and internationally.
