James begins a seven-part series introducing our vision for 2025 - "Renew the Nation". We are being called to "raise the scaffolding" to extend the work that has been done over previous years, to see God's Kingdom come in our city, and our nation.

Luke 5 v 31-32

31) Jesus answered them, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. 32) I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”

Luke 15 v 1-7

1) Now the tax collectors and sinners were all gathering around to hear Jesus. 2) But the Pharisees and the teachers of the law muttered, “This man welcomes sinners and eats with them.”

3) Then Jesus told them this parable:

4) “Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? 5) And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders 6) and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.’ 7) I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.

Luke 10 v 1-3

1) After this the Lord appointed seventy-two[a] others and sent them two by two ahead of him to every town and place where he was about to go. 2) He told them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field. 3) Go! I am sending you out like lambs among wolves.
