Manage episode 278550136 series 2829930
Dan Lane has likely discovered or been part of discovering more new bird species than any other living person. Dan started his field research with LSU and focuses mostly on Peru, he co-authored the Field Guide to the Birds of Peru. In this episode we talk about his discovery of the Scarlet-Banded Barbet and some other species, birding in Louisiana, and of all things, nutria!
The last question is where Dan's internet goes out, but we pick up right where we left off on part 2!
