This is Still Here Hollywood. I’m Steve Kmetko. Join me with today’s guest, Serge from “Beverly Hills Cop”, Bronson Pinchot. Accents in film and television can very much define an actor's devotion to their craft. Whether it’s Meryl Streep’s Polish accent in Sofie’s Choice, or Frances McDormand’s Minnesota dialect in “Fargo”, the formation of those voices tell the story of where the character is from. But, there’s one actor who reached overnight fame in the 1980’s for his uniquely hilarious accent that left the movie-going world scratching their heads. This is Still Here Hollywood. I’m Steve Kmetko. Join me with today’s guest, from the iconic film “Back to the Future”, actress and director, Lea Thompson. So much of Hollywood looks back toward the past instead of ahead to the future. How much did your last movie make? What were last night’s ratings…? Today we are graced to have someone whose career took off by combining the past and future. She has starred in, and directed, a ridiculous number of films and television shows. Of course, if you travel “Back To The Future”, you’ll see her in the role that made her a household name as a co-star of one of the biggest movie franchises of the 1980’s and beyond. This is Still Here Hollywood. I’m Steve Kmetko. Join me with today’s guest, Isaac from The Love Boat, Ted Lange. Back in the day, Saturday night television was a huge opportunity for the three networks to create “family TV”. And for a decade, starting in the late 70’s, there was a show that besides topping the ratings, was family friendly, and also became a huge promotion for a sailing vacations. Let’s just call it the pre-precursor to today’s “Below Deck”. This is Still Here Hollywood. I’m Steve Kmetko. Join me with today’s guest, and prosecutor Sylvia Costas from NYPD BLUE,, Sharon Lawrence. Now I know that not many, if any, of you will remember the show DRAGNET, because it originally aired in the 1950’s, I mean I was barely around then. But DRAGNET was one of the first big TV “Cop Shows” that came on just a smidge after TV was invented. Since then, police dramas have pretty much taken up residence on network television schedules… In the 1980’s there was one show that broke the mold, showing the personal side of the people in law enforcement and the judicial system. That show was NYPD BLUE. This is STILL HERE HOLLYWOOD. I’m Steve Kmetko. Join me, with today’s guest from “Home Improvement”, Richard Karn. Chewbacca… Robin… Tattoo… Ed McMahon. Sidekicks in film and television are some of the most important roles to fill on a cast. And all are pivotal to the success of the show. In the 1990’s there was an unforgettable sidekick who hammered his way to fame on one of the most popular comedies of the decade. This is STILL HERE HOLLYWOOD, I’m Steve Kmetko. Join me with today’s guest, George Wendt, Norm from “Cheers”. When you think about the biggest comedy shows in television’s history, there are always a few things that stand out. There’s of course the writing. The ensemble cast. Sometimes, the music. And there’s very often at least one character who’s name resonates, staying in pop culture for decades. This fact is pretty much the “norm”. And it’s that Norm, that I’m talking about… Show Credits Host/Producer: Steve Kmetko All things technical: Justin Zangerle Executive Producer: Jim Lichtenstein Music by: Brian Sanyshyn Transcription: Mushtaq Hussain https://stillherehollywood.com http://patreon.com/stillherehollywood Suggest Guests at: stillherehollywood@gmail.com Advertise on Still Here Hollywood: jim@stillherenetwork.com Publicist: Maggie Perlich: maggie@numbertwelvemarketing.com…

This is Still Here Hollywood. I’m Steve Kmetko. Join me with today’s guest, from RUSH HOUR and many more, Tzi Ma. There are faces that are ingrained in the film and television world. This is Still Here Hollywood. I'm Steve Kmetko. Join us with today's guest, actor Joely Fisher. Growing up in showbiz, like today's guest did, is a smidge different than how most of us were raised. This is STILL HERE HOLLYWOOD. I”m Steve Kmetko. Join me with today’s guest, Otter from NATIONAL LAMPOON’S ANIMAL HOUSE, actor, director, and now author, Tim Matheson. In 1978, movie theaters were packed to the gills with box office blockbusters. The top three movies were GREASE, SUPERMAN, and an unlikely raunchy hit about a trouble making fraternity. That film was NATIONAL LAMPOON’S ANIMAL HOUSE. Besides the other breakout stars like John Belushi, Kevin Bacon, and Tom Hulce, there was one smooth talking frat boy, with a twinkle in his eye, who stole every scene he was in. Tim Matheson's book is available on Amazon.
