Immigrant's Road features origin stories that create a touchstone for exploring an immigrant's generational life. What's your family tree look like? Did someone leave their home and start over in order to provide future generations with a better life? We migrate for many reasons; some to explore other cultures or take advantage of opportunities, others to escape viiolence, war or a lack of opportunity. The message of Immigrant’s Road is one of commonality and mutual needs. We don't talk politics. Our only intention is to open up lines of communication and understanding by giving a voice to the immigrants who seek freedom to live and raise their families in peace and safety. Guests will share their experiences, in their own words. We'll discuss inter-generational trauma – something experienced by most immigrant families and explore what it feels like to be a child of immigrants who grows up quickly, often having to interpret and navigate a world their parent’s struggle to fit into. Immigrant's Road is brought to you by Global Synergistic Living, a Florida non-profit, founded by Sheri Laine and Gary Seidler, who collectively have over eight decades of experience in the Integrative Health, Wellness, Addiction/Recovery, Mental Health, and Self-Help fields.
