Each of us has had moments in our life that has offended us. We can let those offenses create barriers between us and those we love. They can even, and often do, put barriers between us and God, our creator. Those barriers change our attitudes and behaviors as we walk through life. Our response to past hurts can even shape the direction we go. But when God gives us opportunities to tear down these barriers, He can restore us to the person He created us to be.
One of my opportunities came in the form of a widow-maker heart attack. And even though my experience was profound to say the least, and God certainly has changed my heart, the journey ahead to become the man He wants me to be is not going to be easy.
Join me on my journey as I learn what it really means to follow Jesus Christ, and overcome the real life struggles that God wants to use to help me grow in faith but that the enemy wants to use to keep me from walking God's path.
