And I’m not just talking about the obvious exhaustion. I’m talking about the sneaky ways burnout creeps in, especially when you're a trauma therapist running your own private practice. In this episode, I’m sharing my story about transitioning from working as a hospital social worker during the height of the pandemic to opening my own private practice. I’ll talk about how I went from feeling invincible to realizing that burnout was creeping in—even when I was my own boss. Spoiler alert: raising my fees, niching down, and truly understanding what I wanted my life to look like were game-changers in breaking the burnout cycle.
