The Tsar Bomba (Russian: Царь-бомба, romanized: Tsar'-bomba, IPA: [t͡sarʲ ˈbombə], lit. 'Tsar bomb'; code name: Ivan[5] or Vanya), also known by the alphanumerical designation "AN602", was a thermonuclear aerial bomb, and the most powerful nuclear weapon ever created and tested.
You should look at a picture of the final fire ball and mushroom cloud of that thing. It's terrifying. We're talking third degree burns within 62 miles of the blast. The pilots had a 50% chance of not even escaping after dropping it.
Thankfully though listener...that didn't happen in any populous areas...for us. Not for the miserable inhabitants of todays game FALLOUT 3. They got completely BLASTED.
This game's so good that we did a terrible episode for some reason. Maybe just too excited about the whole thing to really break it all down.
I hope you still enjoy it though. It's one of the greatest games of all time.
