Welcome to the first episode of the 2nTwo podcast with your host Anjy. In this episode, Anjy speaks with Amang, a young man from Nottingham who has turned his life around since coming out of prison. Born and bred in Gambia before moving to the UK, Amang speaks on his experience being in prison from age 17 till 19. They discuss everything from relationship straints and mental health during his 18 month sentence, to the new path he is on now making his friends and family proud. Amang is now in full time employment as well as running his own business in construction after completing an apprenticeship straight out of his sentence.
