This podcast features interviews and stories with physicians from a variety of backgrounds and involved in many different styles of practice (mental health, addiction and pain, rural practice, OMM/OMT, geriatrics, pediatrics, lifestyle med, preventive medicine, etc). She became comfortable using hormone replacement therapy in that context and then expanded her practice to incorporate hormone therapy in gender-affirming care as well (which she says there is a great need for this type of care in primary care, particularly in Denver where I am at). She discusses sexual pain disorders such as vulvodynia, dyspareunia, and vaginismus, and why they can be difficult to treat.
