In this episode we have an open discussion of the US led "War on Terror" from its roots in the 1980s Reagan administration obsession with the Iranian Revolution and Tehran hostage crisis, to the date seared into many people's memories 11/09/2001, the subsequent invasion of Afghanistan (now the longest war in American history) and Iraq, and much more. This discussion was precipitated by Trump's recent declaration that he would reduce US occupation Troops in Afghanistan and Iraq before he leaves office on 20th January.
