The dust from the huge "Feel The Pressure" release has only just settled, yet Axtone gives us another delicious release for us to enjoy. "Arms Around Me" by Hard Rock Sofa and Skidka, is an instant classic to our forum. Nowadays, the music that's out there often misses something our love for Axwell and Axtone is built on: a good groove. Although we all love the big room sounds of releases like In The Air, Heart Is King and In My Mind, we also love for releases to have a little funk here and there.
With Axwell's not so distant Remode for COTU, signings as Kryder's Aphrodite and the future stuff from NEW_ID, Axtone is becoming a label to us that can bring that very funk back and mix it in with the big and quality sounds of today! "Arms Around Me" is the ultimate track that showcases this return of funk and groove in today's house music, and we thought we should celebrate approriately with a one hour groovy-disco-guiltypleasure-filled hour of dance music!
