Jon J sits down to catch up with renaissance man, activist, organizer, and creator of The Filipino Garage Podcast, Christian Guerrero. In August of last year (2019) Christian joined Jon J, Jojo (N2L Region 6 Director), Epzky (N2L National Director), and a team of N2L Leader Scholars on a trip to Giumaras Island. There they we were able to connect with young men residing at the Regional Rehabilitation Center for Youth (Children in Conflict with the Law). Christian, aka Kuya Chris, was able to hold 2 days of a Hip Hop/Music/Recording workshop. In this episode of Buhay N2L, Jon and Kuya Chris talk about Kuya Chris’ summer in the Philippines with the UC Berkeley study abroad program as well as his thoughts on his experience with the youth of the RRCY and N2L.
