What is the purpose of the education system? Is it to teach children the needed skills and knowledge to be successful in todays world? If so, why are they not teaching the principals of the most successful people? I submit to you that learning how to self educate is far more valuable than what is actually taught. Because that opens the doors of the world before you! If you can learn to LOVE learning and have a passion and drive to self teach and self educate, you will be far more advanced than any public schooled counterpart. Now, you might be thinking, what about a social life? I believe the answer is simple: Don't shelter kids from the world. They need to have a chance to meet other children, make friends, and work out communication skills! Unless public school is a glorified free babysitter. Then I suppose that's the best option! But we're about to share what we learned and doing Homeschool VS Public school! Enjoy!
