In the latest episode of the “Best Coast Boys” podcast, hosts Landon McCool and the Dallas Morning News’ John Owning review the Dallas Cowboys offense in their losing effort to the New Orleans Saints.

After the pleasantries, the guys catch up on all the latest injuries news and notes surrounding the Cowboys roster. After that, Landon and John dive into their review of the Cowboys offense vs the Saints. The guys begin by giving their overarching thoughts on Dallas’ performance.

The guys then give a position-by-position review, starting at QB. Landon and John give their thoughts on Dak Prescott’s performance, including why Prescott may not have performed great but was far from Dallas’ biggest issue. At RB, the guys discuss Ezekiel Elliott’s day and how he was really hindered by poor blocking upfront. At the WR/TE positions, the guys discuss how NO was able to slow DAL’s weapons. On the OL, the guys detail La’el Collins’ impressive performance while also discussing the interior OL’s struggles.

To finish the show, the guys dive into a new segment called “Geekout Freakout,” where they discuss nerdy things they are looking forward to. Landon discusses a movie and an upcoming holiday while John discusses to comic book related events.
