The phrase "the Communion of Saints" can sound strange to us today, but it is a term used to refer to a Biblical teaching. Chapter 27 of the 1689 Second London Baptist Confession first defines that communion, and then explains its practical outworking. It begins with the union of believers with Christ, and therefore with each other in the Spirit.
