Hour 1 Jerry and CLo are once again marveling at the wonder of Aaron Judge after Judge’s terrific defensive play in last night’s Yankee win. Juan Soto received a warm ovation in his return to Washington. Which starting pitcher is best suited to move to the bullpen? Can Luis Gil be the next Mariano Rivera? Pat Boyle is in the update chair today and we are off to a flying start because he made what he calls a “catastrophic error”. Nestor Cortes and Aaron Judge were brilliant in the Yankees win. Clay Holmes added a clean ninth inning. The Cowboys paid CeeDee Lamb and Jerry doesn’t want to hear anymore about NFL contracts not being guaranteed. Boyle reads a Jerry Jones quote with a southern accent. In the final segment of the hour, Jerry has CLo and Boyle face off in a battle of mid-2000’s comedy movie quotes. Hour 2 Jerry and CLo react to CeeDee Lamb’s extension and discuss other contract situations around the NFL. Pat Boyle returns for an update and begins with Gleyber Torres getting hot at the top of the Yankees lineup. He is quizzed on his SAT scores and Brian Rascona delivers a funny SAT story. In the final segment of the hour, Jerry mentions that Caitlin Clark continues to do great things on the court for the Indiana Fever. Then, Jerry and CLo look at the Thursday Night Football schedule. Hour 3 Rutgers men’s basketball head coach Steve Pikiell and incoming freshman Dylan Harper join us in studio. Rutgers basketball games will air on WFAN this year. Pat Boyle returns for an update. Aaron Judge made an outstanding defensive play in a win. Jerry thought he saw Judge limping but nobody else picked it up. Boyle learns Jerry does the updates without a script. Jerry is the GOAT, after all. In the final segment of the hour, we discuss beer prices at sporting events and wonder why there are so many fights at preseason football games. Hour 4 CLo delivers the good news that Greg Swindell’s daughter has been found. Jerry says this is a huge series for the Mets as they chase the Braves, who are probably the last team the Mets want to try and chase down in a race. The guys note that Jazz Chisholm Jr has been excellent since he was traded to the Yankees. Pat Boyle returns for an update but first, something Jerry just heard makes him feel old. Patrick Corbin will start against the Yankees tonight. The Nationals will finally be out of his contract at the end of the season. Boyle reads a mean tweet he received and some believe his glasses make him look like Jeffrey Dahmer. The Moment of The Day involves Brian Rascona sharing something he has learned in life. In the final segment of the hour, Jerry tells CLo that Boomer wants to take the crew to Burning Man and reads a story about what someone can experience there.
