In this portion, we look at the two visions given to the two individuals, Peter and Cornelius living in different places and at different times. We see how God directs them to meet together. One could summarize this intervention by God in Acts 10 as the cause the local church has become a worldwide church. The principle subject of this chapter is not so much the conversion of Cornelius as the conversion of Peter. Peter learned that grace trumps race.
