John 6:22-71 “Decision Time”
In our Bible Study at Calvary Ottawa this Sunday, Pastor Andy Falleur read to us once again from John 6:22-71.
This time, the “meeting after the meeting” captured our attention, as Jesus is digesting the conversation with his disciples. It’s a hard teaching, and instead of lightening it, or explaining, or simplifying it, Jesus presses even further. In his responses we see both extremes of God’s attributes as transcendent and immanent. He seems to be intentionally bringing them to the point of a decision.
