As crowds gather in France and it seems like there have been blessedly few notable headlines (as of recording this episode, anyways) we discuss the opening press conference of Cannes and Meryl Streep's honorary Palme presentation. We also catch up on a good bit of news from Venice and others, and have a nice chat about Kevin Costner's Deadline interview. And to top it all off, Bertrand Bonello's COMA is getting something of a theatrical rollout in America on the heels of THE BEAST, and we've been able to take a look at his pandemic era look at teenage girlhood. We hope Patricia Coma recommends this episode, seems like it would be good for traffic.
