There is much discussion on green buildings and the impact of construction and operation on the envirnoment but what about the social impacts of the production processes of the final products and services we consume? Can there be a rating a simple rating system that can evaluate the complexities of both enviromental and social impact? Enter the GECA eco label. Kate is responsible for driving the strategy for the built environment and big business at GECA.
In this session Kate shares some of the intriguing initiatives GECA is working on, for example their work with United Nations to scale up the benefits of a wholistic impact assessment label globally.
