It's never been easy to be a teacher. But it has always been a rewarding position, inspiring young lives and making a difference for a positive future. Unfortunately, that is no longer the case. Teachers are leaving the profession, and far fewer are enrolling to prepare for a future in education than we need.
Why is that? It's no secret that society is changing, culture is changing, and it's harder than ever to be a teacher, and lead in a school system today. We talk about this with Scott Barron, Chief Reinvention Officer for School Growth, LLC. Scott is working with administrations to help to right the ship and to create an environment where teachers can thrive, and students can be prepared for the future.
