Doug Sirmons is this weeks guest on the Coach Me Up Podcast with Jimmy Dykes and Chris Burke. Doug is one of the top college basketball officials in the country right now. He has officiated 9 Final Fours in his career, and has worked each of the past 6 Final Fours in a row. No official in the country is respected more than Doug Sirmons.
Doug’s story of how he rose to the top of his profession after he began officiating at the age of 19 is inspiring. But his testimony of what God has done in his heart and his life is even more impactful.
From knowing about Jesus to actually knowing and submitting to Jesus, Doug is transparent about how God stirred in his heart and changed him as a man.
