According to a recent interview, Solana co-founder Anatoly Yakovenko believes that Coinbase's Base layer-2 scaling solution for Ethereum is now Solana's biggest competitor due to its high level of network activity. Yakovenko suggests that Base is competing with Solana based on the amount of activity happening on each network.
