The Heroes force their way through the crowd and up to an entrance of the arena. They are stopped by a guard, clearly agitated at having been put on duty on such a frantic day. They ask him how they can get in as combatants, and he directs them around to a different entrance. They turn to make their way there and are greeted by a screaming hoard of excited onlookers attempting to force their way into the arena. The Heroes eventually find their way out of the crowd and make their way around the perimeter of the arena.

After a short walk, the crowd begins to thin out and they can walk comfortably. Continuing on, they eventually reach a solitary guard sitting against the wall of the arena. He looks up as the Heroes approach, begrudgingly rising to his feet. They tell him they are looking to enter the arena as combatant, and ask why there are so few people on this side of the arena. He responds by informing them that this entrance leads directly into the holding area for the combatants and creatures underneath the arena, so most people avoid attempting to sneak in past such dangerous individuals. The Heroes are not deterred, and make their way in.
