The next piece of armor is having your feet fitted with the readiness of the gospel of peace, stating that genuine peace comes from living by God's word, not compromising with evil. The shield of faith is essential for quenching all the fiery darts of the wicked, emphasizing that faith grows through hearing the truth.

Finally, the last armor pieces are the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit. The helmet represents the renewal of the mind, as seen in Romans 12:2, teaching believers to transform their thoughts to align with God's truth. The sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, is a weapon for spiritual warfare. Put on the whole armor of God and engage in the cultural battle between good and evil.
