One of our jobs as Jesus People is to make sure that we never stop telling the next generation about the greatness of our God. This message is all about how we don’t just believe the YOUTH are just the church of tomorrow, we believe that they are the church of today! Kids and students matter here. We will do everything possible to help them fall in love with Jesus and lead the way in the Kingdom.

Now why would we take an entire Sunday to talk about this? Don’t we have other things to focus on?Why would we as a new church be so passionate about snotty nosed babies, wild toddlers, crazy kids, and the youth of today?

The short answer is because JESUS is passionate about the now generation.

The next Now Generation matters to Jesus—and if they matter to Jesus, they must matter to us.

So my whole hope today, is to help you get a greater picture for the kingdom of Jesus, a heart for what He’s passionate about, I want the Spirit of Jesus thru the word of God to stir in you a heart for Young people, no matter how old you are or what stage of life you find yourself in.

This is not a Ted talk on young people today — this is a message about the heart of God and His heart for the Now Generation.

Jesus People value the Nowgen because Jesus values the Nowgen.

Matthew 18:3-5

“and said, “Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. 4 Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. 5 “Whoever receives one such child in my name receives me,

Matthew 19:13-15

13 Then people brought little children to Jesus for him to place his hands on them and pray for them. But the disciples rebuked them.

14 Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
