A nine year old lawsuit claiming the Secret Service has not paid the full amount of overtime owed to its agents is one step closer to resolution. The suit focused on an Office of Personnel Management policy that Secret service agents had to work two consecutive hours of unscheduled extra duty to receive overtime pay. But that policy has been overturned, and attorneys representing Secret Service are looking for a class action settlement. For more on the case, Federal News Network's Jory Heckman spoke with a partner at Clark Hill that's representing the agents, Nicholas Wieczorek.
