Catherine Bauknight is a Documentary Filmmaker and Photojournalist based in Los Angeles.She is also an educator and offers workshops on "documenting your culture". She works with photo agency Zuma Press and other news agencies and outlets in still photography and videography. Her documentary films include 8-time award winning, "Hawaii A Voice for Sovereignty." Her latest photo exhibit, "ALL ONE WORLD TURN OF THE CENTURY 20th-21st" photography exhibition, is an international experience connecting people through photography. Her work often placed her in challenging and dangerous situations, including being detained in foreign countries like Peru, Saudi Arabia, and China. Through her lens, Bauknight captures the essence of humanity’s struggle for democracy and freedom.
