In today’s episode, Elsa welcomes client, friend, and all-around awesome human - Carey Peters - to the show! We discuss Carey’s relationship with style throughout her life and different pursuits, how style has impacted her business, and Carey finally reveals what she means when she refers to “The Elsa Effect”. Plus? Elsa and Carey go deep in conversation about how the fashion industry needs to change - and how we can help foster that change as consumers. Don’t miss this week’s episode of Get Styled!

Carey Peters has founded or co-founded 6 businesses, including Health Coach Institute, taking them from startup to revenues totaling over $200M. Health Coach Institute is the top rated dual health and life coach certificate training in the market, having trained over 36,000 coaches in over 100 countries around the world. Carey uses her 18 years of entrepreneurial experience to help other founders in 2 ways: she teaches them how to add certification trainings to their businesses that exponentially increase revenue and impact, and secondly she helps high-achieving female founders end the struggle with emotional eating and body image.

Currently based in Chicago, Carey holds a BFA in Acting from DePaul University and was a professional actress for 15 years in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles. She lives with her husband and her beautiful 8 year old daughter, and outside of work, loves seeing theater, live music, and stand-up comedy.
