S1-E31 Meet Ryan Brooks, owner of Brooks House of BBQ and Brooks Bottling Company.
Ryan is the fourth generation of Brooks entrepreneurs. His Great Grandparents started a chicken farm. His Grandparents started cooking and selling them, and his Dad and Mom-the largest indoor BBQ pit in the east.
Ryan, being the ambitious and hard-working entrepreneur, expanded the capabilities of the restaurant, growing the delivery and catering departments and adding an international bottling plant. Brooks Bottling is creating and packaging their own expanded product line, plus co-packaging and private labeling globally!
Ryan talks about the importance of the loyalty and respect he has for the multiple generations of Brooks family members who have laid the groundwork for the enterprise that exists today, and also for the extended Brooks “family”-the team that makes all of this possible every day.
Even the pandemic of 2020 did not hold this company back as they did not furlough any team members, but rather, pivoted where necessary and actually expanded the businesses.
