In this enlightening podcast, we further looked into the operations of God and the significant moves He has made on the earth. With a comprehensive understanding of the five major moves of God, we focus on the fourth move, which began with the resurrection of Jesus and marks the season of grace leading up to the second coming of Christ.
Our mission is clear: to reconcile men to the Lord Jesus. This great commission is our task and assignment, and it remains crucial as we move forward. Every revelation from God serves the sole purpose of bringing people closer to Him. If we are not actively reconciling men to Christ, it is essential to reassess our actions and ensure we are fulfilling His calling.
We explore the story of Sihon, emphasizing the importance of possessing the inheritance given to us in Christ Jesus. Sihon represents obstacles in both physical and spiritual forms that we must overcome. It is our responsibility, not God's, to destroy these obstacles. The Bible teaches that we must take action and mortify our members; God has entrusted us with this duty.
In today's world, Christians have responsibilities to make decisions, consecrate themselves, develop character, and lay aside every weight and sin. These are tasks that God has empowered us to undertake. As we journey through our faith, we must remain vigilant and proactive, rising up to possess our God-given inheritance.
Deuteronomy 2:24 calls us to "rise up, take your journey, and pass over the river Arnon." Just as the children of Israel had to overcome their tendency to relax and settle, we too must avoid complacency. By learning from history and staying aware of past pitfalls, we can ensure we do not repeat the same mistakes.
The call to rise up is a reminder that we must stay spiritually awake and utilize the resources God has given us to reconcile men to Him. It is a call to radical action and steadfast commitment to our faith.
