A historic deal was struck at the UN's COP27 summit at Sharm el- Sheikh that will see rich nations pay poorer countries for the damage and economic losses caused by climate change.

It ended almost 30 years of waiting by nations facing huge climate impacts.

But developed nations left dissatisfied over progress on cutting fossil fuels.

During the Sharm climate conference, Yosef Abramowitz, a green energy entrepreneur, smashed tablets atop Jebel Musa in Egypt, thought by many to be the site of Mount Sinai, to symbolize Israel’s and the world’s failure to protect the planet and the lack of action on climate change.

KAN’s Mark Weiss asked him why he made such a dramatic protest.
