WALL06: Two Friends Reflect on Shane Warne: The Aussie Cricketer Who Lived Large with James Carpenter and Leanne Hughes
Manage episode 331213674 series 3360545
I wasn’t expecting to bring you this episode today but I woke up this morning to the news that Australian cricketing legend, Shane Warne died overnight at the age of 52.
Hey, you can also watch this conversation on YouTube.
If I had to select anyone to be the face of the message behind the premise of this show (Work and Live Large), it would be Shane Warne.
So, who better to reflect on the life of Warnie, than spin-bowler and cricketing tragic, James Carpenter (JC).
When I lived in Broome, WA - James and I would often talk about Warnie and how much we loved him. So, today was a good opportunity to hop on a Zoom call to share our thoughts and reflections on the impact of Warnie's life on us.
What I loved most about Warnie was his ability to live large, to play it fearlessly. To be okay with making mistakes.
No one else did it better.
Vale Shane Warne.
I'd love to see you in California in Feb 2023!
