Decluttering can have profound and life-changing effects, not only in terms of creating a more organized and tidy physical space but also in improving your mental and emotional well-being. Today's guest is Kate Evans. She's a psychologist and a decluttering coach at Soulfulspacecoaching. com and she's here to talk to us about how decluttering the home and the mind can have so many great benefits. Kate talks about how much better she felt after she decluttered her home and how the process helped her overcome limiting beliefs about herself. She suggests picking areas to work on that you have the time and energy for in order to support little wins and give yourself momentum. Find the right place to start and just do it - don't overthink it or put pressure on yourself to be perfect. And once the decluttering happens, Kate stresses the importance of having systems in place to maintain a peaceful, tidy home and avoid filling it back up with stuff. If you really want to have an authentic life that feels good, you have to slow down and check in with yourself. Figure out what works for you - and stop using and thinking the word SHOULD. The state of your home represents the state of your brain. There are profound mental effects of decluttering that can truly change your life. Once you clear the clutter from your home, energy flows free and the newly found space supports intentional living and opens doors to personal growth and exploration.
