In collaboration with the Alameda County Bar Association, Love Thy Lawyer presents an interview with: Hon. Veronica Rios Reddick
Alameda County, Superior Court.
Judge, October 2022 to present.
- Currently presides over jury trials and preliminary hearings at East County Hall of Justice.
- Presided over misdemeanor arraignment, pretrial calendar and traffic court at Wiley Manuel Courthouse.
Alameda County District Attorney’s Office. Deputy District Attorney, Since January 2010.
- Handled felony and misdemeanor arraignments, misdemeanor pretrials and misdemeanor progress reports.
- Handled felony jury trials and preliminary hearings involving murder, attempted murder, vehicular manslaughter, domestic violence, sexual assault, robbery, arson, child abuse, child porn, grand theft and dissuading witnesses.
- Exercised discretion to negotiate just resolutions which included non-traditional rehabilitation.
- Handled and tried misdemeanor and felony cases involving juveniles.
