MAC Sports Foundation Finishes Youth and Family Center Project

Missouri Athletic Club Connections

After a year-long initiative led by the MAC Sports Foundation, renovations to the gymnasium and building entrances at the Youth & Family Center (YFC) are complete! The finished project was marked on Wednesday, Oct. 25 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony with those involved in attendance.
The YFC welcomes neighbors of all ages and provides programs and resources to grow healthy families and build a strong community. The MAC Sports Foundation and the YFC are a natural fit, as both organizations share a vision that athletics has the power to transform lives in our community for generations.
Renovations included installing a brand-new gymnasium floor, replacing exterior doors, upgrading security features, refreshing entrance and gymnasium spaces with new paint, and providing a protective floor covering when the gym is used as a multi-purpose space. With the support of community partners, MAC member donors and MAC member businesses, the MAC Sports Foundation raised over $170,000 for the project.
